ITAEWON CLASS!

   Hello Beautiful people!

Happy start to the week for everyone, today I'm going to tell you about the new Korean drama that Netflix has and that is making people talk on social networks.

“Itaewon Class” is a Korean television drama series about an ex-con and his journey to try and turn his dream into a reality. Based on the webtoon by the same name, "Itaewon Class" is written by Gwang Jin and directed by Kim Sung-Yoon. It is also the first television series that is produced by Showbox. With a plot that is full of romance, twists, and drama.


Follows the story of Park Sae-Ro-Yi, whose life took a turn for the worst after he got involved in a brutal fight with the CEO’S son which led to him being imprisoned for three years. Now that he has his freedom back, all Sae-Ro-Yi wants to do is follow his father's footsteps and open a pub franchise called DanBam, starting in Itaewon and turn it into the biggest food company in Korea so that he can seek revenge from his rivals.

The series began its broadcast on January 31st of this year and had its last chapter on March 21st, it has a total of 16 episodes for its first season and although there are still no plans to be renewed for a second season, many fans they are waiting as there is still much to say.

"Itaewon Class" has some big names in its cast. Park Seo-Joon ('What's Wrong With Secretary Kim?'), One of the most popular Korean actors right now, Kim Da-mi ('Marionette') as Jo Yi-Seo, the manager for Park Sae-Ro-Yi's restaurant, Yoo Jae-Myung ('Stranger') as Jang Dae-Hee, Sae-Ro-Yi's competition's CEO, and Kwon Nara ('Suspicious Partner') as Oh Soo-ah, a former friend of Sae-Ro-Yi's.

Other members of the show are Kim Dong-hee ('Sky Castle') as Jang Geun-soo, Ryu Kyung-soo ('Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo') as Choi Seung-Kwon, Kim Hye-Eun ('Secret Affair') as Kang Min-jung, and Kim Yeo-Jin as Jo Jeong-min. A lot of new faces like Lee Joo-young as Ma Hyeon-Yi, Chris Lyon as Kim To-ni, Ahn Bo-Hyun as Jang Geun-won, Yoo Da-mi as Kim Sun-ae, Lee David as Lee Ho-Jin, Yoon Kyung-ho as Oh Byeong-Heon can also be seen in the series.


This wonderful Korean drama has left us with many surprises, it not only covers important topics such as hope, acceptance, inclusion, friendship, and perseverance; in addition to having the spark of comedy and the overflow of drama that will make you cry for a whole month.

We also find a great soundtrack composed by various artists such as Kim Woo Sung, a member of the band "The Rose", Yoon Mi Rae, the band VERIVERY, among others. As well as the special participation of the member of BTS V (Kim Taehyun) who is a great friend of the main actor Park Seo Joon and was in charge of putting the voice for the sweet ballad "Sweet Night"
